  • Windows 8+: create NAT first, then enable forwarding, so an already-authenticated NIC does not carry someone else's IP
  • On Win7, sharing the same NIC now warns and asks for confirmation instead of greying out

  • Leftover NAT / IP forwarding from an uninstall is cleaned on install and start, so admission does not report IP/MAC mismatch

Add
  • One installer, two roles: the machine with internet becomes the gateway; machines without internet become clients
  • SOCKS5 and HTTP share one port; users only need to remember one address
  • PAC auto-config: enter one address in the browser to use the gateway; intranet addresses still connect directly
  • The client takes over the system proxy and restores it on exit. If the program crashes, the next launch restores first
  • Windows routing mode: all traffic on the machine goes through the gateway; no per-app setup
  • The gateway is discovered on the LAN automatically; clients do not type an IP
  • Source-subnet whitelist: only the machines you specify get through
  • A network health check runs after install, telling you whether this environment will work and what the risks are
  • The gateway can run as a boot service. The client starts with the user. Both are managed from the tray.
  • Logs rotate automatically; uninstall clears autostart and restores the system proxy
